Concerto "Isvor. Constantin Brâncuşi "is dedicated to the great Romanian sculptor, whose life and opera is inspired; is a reinterpretation - visual and sound - of Brâncuşi's world: from the Gorj, where he was born and spiritually formed, to the Parisian art and culture perfect. The works that make up the musical program are inspired by the traditional Oltenian music; Maria Tanase's music (perhaps the most important voice for traditional Romanian music, but also one of Brâncuşi's great love); the music of Erik Satie (French composer, precursor of minimalism, surrealism, repetitive music or "théâtre de l'absurde", interested in the Romanian marriage music and good friend of the Romanian sculptor); or simply works inspired by Constantin Brâncuşi's work: The Sleeping Museum, The Bird, The Brightness of the Earth, The Table of Silence, The Infinite Column.
The musical program is doubled by photo / video projections, a moving system that visually comments - and completes scenario - the sound universe imagined in the spirit and honor of Brâncuşi's work.
