Built in a Romanesque style by the German, Austriac and Italian communities, the ‘’Saint Anton from Padova’’ romano-catholic church dates back more than 100 years ago, being built around the year 1906. Its walls are made of masonry blocks from the Albeştii de Muscel career, whith the door frames and window frames made of Rusciuk stone (Bulgaria). Currently, it has one single tower where the bell can be found, out of the three initial ones.
The church’s interior is divided in three parts: the narthex, the nave and the presbytery, with a height of maximum 10m. Inside there are three altars made of black and coloured marled. In the presbytery, in the background, there is a group of three statues: in the center Saint Anton from Padova, the patron of the church in Câmpina, holding the baby Jesus in his arms, Saint Varvara in the left, and Saint Joseph in the right.
