The Bride’s lake

The Church Lake is a place of recreation for the city's residents. On its shores there is a recreation park and a restaurant equipped with floating pontoons. It is a natural lake of clastokarst origin (appeared in a sinkhole formed by dissolution, subsidence and subduction) and is fed from an underground spring, being populated with fish species: carp, crucian carp, perch, redfish. In 2011, it was redeveloped, the promenade around it and the wharf being modernized.
