Agrement zone "Fountain with Cherries"

Arranged in the mid 70s of the last century, after the whole area was taken over by the local administration from the Forest Management, the place has quickly earned admiration from the locals, especially because, away from the everyday life uproar, the Fountain with Cherries is a harmonious union of two green areas of considerable size: a sunny one, and the other a shady one.

Climbing the Muscel hill, to the point named ‘’LA OBSERVATOR’’ (literally: AT THE OBSERVATORY), from its 550m you will see under your eyes the whole panorama of the city and of its surroundings. From here, it is easily ascertained that the three rivers that surround it, the Câmpiniţa river at North, the Doftana river at East, the Prahova river at West, succeeded to shape Câmpina’s terrace, by making it into a triangular shape platform, with sweet slopes or more abrupt ones.
