The intention of building a culture house existed, according to the documents, since 1958, when the Ministry of Education and Culture granted a permit concerning the ‘’Festivities Hall at Câmpina’’ project (in October 1959, an authorization for preserving the construction of festivities hall is granted). The authorization for executing constructions at the Câmpina District Culture House, on Griviţei street corner Câmpineanu street, is given only on 5^th of January 1961.
